The scenic Kavarna Coast stretches over 42 km with a total area of 74,000 sq. m. beaches, slightly dissected with distinct small natural beaches, which contribute to the relaxed holiday of tourists during the active summer season. A prerequisite for the rapid development of tourism on the territory of Kavarna is the well-built infrastructure in the resort areas - Ikantalaka, Kavarna and Rusalka.

The Kavarna region offers magnificent opportunities for ecotourism in all its forms from the family vacation in the coziness of the traditional village house in Bulgarevo, Kamen Briag or Topola to the specialized tourism - observation and photography of birds and plants, dolphins and various fish in the coastal waters and acquaintance with the rich cultural and historical heritage.

Surveying and photographing of the flora and fauna - the rich variety of birds attracts tourists from all over the world and contributes to making Kavarna one of the most popular places in the country for the development of ornithological tourism (Ikantelaka locality, Bolata locality, the Valley of the Amygli and Yailata) and the typical for the region steppe vegetation and rare species, listed in the Red Book of Bulgaria (Bolata locality, Cape Kaliakra, nature - archeological reserve Yailata (the deciduous peony).

Kavarna is a destination established as a cultural center where a rich activity of regional, national and global scale is being developed. The festivals which bacame traditional in the city attract artists and a wide range of Bulgarian and international audiences. For a short time, Kavarna became the Rock Capital in the Balkans. The city has been attended by over 40 world-renowned performers including Dio, Manowar, Deep Purple, Scorpions, Whitesnake, Accept, Nazareth, Saxon, Billy Idol, Twisted Sister, Aria, Luby, Philip Kirkorov and many other Bulgarian artists - BTR, Signal, Hipodil and others.

June 30 - July 1: July Morning Festival

This year, the July Morning Festival gathered thousands in the first July morning in the village of Kamen Briag to meet the sunrise. The festival started at 4:30 with performances of the first groups. Then on the scene near the Oguncheto area, the song "July Morning" was sung at the moment when the sun disk was shown above the sea.

July - Rock Fest Kavarna

This year's rock festival in Kavarna was on 13, 14 and 15 July 2012 and went under the motto "In honor of Ronnie Headlander's first night was the legendary Dio Disciples band that came to the seaside town with vocalists Tim "Ripper" Owens and Toby Jepson.
